AV Club has got some boring-ass taste these days. If the drum solo and weird changes in The End bother you - YA HOPELESS
THANKS FOR SHARING ANGRY GUY!
Sure, okay. On it.
You are completely correct and I fully agree on that point.
Subtlety, realism and beleivability are not required for an action sequence to be exciting. See: Mad Max

I don't get your point… I mean… they might not right? Zookeepers and I have different rules we follow at zoos.
To be fair, no one said you should make jokes at their expense in a public forum either.
I'm not 100% sure what you're responding to in my comment, but I didn't mean to imply any of that. I was genuinely curious. Thanks for responding.
You raise some good points. However:
So?
So?
It does the same thing in the same form so why would one bother you more? I mean sure that's their intent, but even as a person who has never been raped (for example) I can appreciate how those would be handy for knowing what you are getting into as you begin to absorb some bit of media that features a graphic…
First of all, I think we've moved the goal posts a bit if we've gone into an argument over what SHOULD or SHOLD NOT merit a warning rather than if they are inane as a rule. I don't really have a full formed opinion on that because I require 0 warning for any kind of content.

As someone else pointed out she may have meant "somone else did the same thing to friend of mine." so it's still too soon to get depressed. I don't hear it that way, but I can appreciate that interpretation. So it's less explicit than I said.
Oh weird. I guess I could interpret that from her words, but the ire and dismissiveness at the mention of CK seems irrational and crazy to me if that's the case. She pretty frequently jokes about horrible things and dark subjects, I dunno why her sense of humor would momentarily shut down if she meant, "I heard Louis…
On a recent episode of Throwing Shade comedian Erin Gibson explicitly says that Louie CK did this to a very close friend of hers.
It might be bullshit. The Gawker article is junk.
I don't think it's entirely an attempt to shock. I think it's also a basic admission that comedy isn't actually that "important" and having a mic doesn't make him a philosopher worth giving too much weight to. His big philosophical rants usually end with a "BUT I'm still a dumb fat guy who jerks off too much, is…
