I'm with you, then. Curved screens are nothing but video geek bait, like the "flat-screen" CRT TVs back in their day, or the equivalent of gold connector cables in the "audiophile" realm.

We still have a couple last-generation CRT TVs in the house, and they're almost as deep as they are wide. They're absurdly unwieldy and make quite obvious why flat screens became a "thing".
