I'm the guy who's completely incapable of marathoning anything. The thought of an all-day film festival fills me with dread, and though I often plan to binge on a TV show I always find I can't watch more than two episodes at a time. I can only read in one hour chunks, max. Basically I'm the worst, but hopefully I'm

Tech Support Jason definitely shocked the hell out of me. I was expecting a train wreck, and instead I got one of the most entertaining auditions of the night. The 13-year-old girl possessed by a soulful black lady was also fantastic.

Hilarious you mention this, as my friend and I had a huge debate last week about which section of the show is "law" and which is "order". I say the lawyers are the law, and the cops are the order, but she disagrees. Our friends fell on both sides of the fence, and no consensus was reached. Somebody get Dick Wolf on

My problem with the Autotune crack is that Demi Lovato is actually an amazingly talented singer — more of a Kelly Clarkson type than a Britney. If you're gonna insult someone on that panel for Autotune, at least insult the right person.

You know what movie was pretty fantastic? The Hoax. No one saw it, no one remembers it, and no one talks about it, but it was actually great.

If it helps, I still think he's a hyper-stylized hack with no genuine talent. Slathering everything in the same subpar Tobe Hooper '70s sheen, regardless of the material, does not make a director talented. The fact that some critics respect his gimmick truly baffles me.

I really enjoyed the bombast and campy spectacle of this show last year, but it's even better now that Britney and Demi Lovato are around to liven things up. Congrats to Britney for not being another Paula or J-Lo who tells everyone they look really pretty. I hope she continues to crush dreams in the live shows.

I'd be much more apt to believe Sutter's "you're not supposed to take this show seriously" BS if it weren't for all the heavy-handed Hamlet allusions. You can't really crib from Shakespeare and then pretend like your show has no grand ambitions.

I'm epically excited for Scienetics. Earlier in the season I was disappointed they swerved away from a Connor Scientology plot, but now I see that was a trick and the show had no intention of letting me down. Plus I'm currently reading Janet Reitman's "Inside Scientology", so this should be fun.
