I believe it's necessary for us to complain about the reviews if we want a change, or see a need for improvement. There's a way to do that and be respectful, of course, but we can't just let mediocrity slide.

I thought Teti was going to do the recaps every other week or something? Even in a season of half-assed PR reviews, this one is particularly half-assed. Does The AV Club pay attention to whether a reviewer seems to be a good match for the show they're reviewing, or is it just a free for all?

Will it be as hilarious as the Ireland season of Sons of Anarchy?

Hmm. I love Ti West's sensibilities, but haven't enjoyed anything Eli Roth's done since Cabin Fever. Will this thing be half shitty?

As someone who watches the show to get invested in dancers I enjoy, this season has been a wreck. My favorites were Matthew, Will, and Cole, and though I ditched the show after Will was eliminated I was hoping Cole would last longer. I don't see how Cyrus is still in the competition.

I'm willing to give Revolution some time. Supernatural's first season was mostly awful, but it then became one of the best genre shows on TV until Kripke left. Plus the premise of Revolution doesn't bother me at all.

Interesting contrast to the Sepinwall and Fienberg review. They said the first half is entertaining and that Ellen Burstyn is excellent. WHO IS RIGHT? (I don't want to watch and determine for myself.)

Guess you missed the part that said, "the plot makes the story sound significantly simpler than it is."

I really like Shenae Grimes due to my love of anyone Degrassi related, but her job here seemed to be to stand in one spot and push the button on the camera. Oh well.
