Love this show, but I usually skip the reviews because I'm not a fan of Phil's take on the show. This is the first review I've read in weeks, and I have to agree with the other commenters that it feels like a half-assed afterthought. I'm glad The AV Club is covering the show, but I'd rather have no review than

Despite my love for Drag Race, I've never been able to get into Drag U. Every episode is exactly the same, and though it's great to see the all-star queens again, it's just not worth it in this format.

My biggest laugh came from the ballerinas breaking down over Mark Wahlberg in France, followed by Michelle's frantic, "What happened to Mark Wahlberg in France?!"

Thanks, Donna Bowman, for finally giving me an excuse to break out the Sports Night DVDs I bought about a year ago. I've never seen a Sorkin series, though I think I like his style based on his film work. I did a blind buy of the DVDs after enjoying Josh Charles on The Good Wife, so this seems like a perfect time to

What fascinates me about this show is how, in a mere 6 episodes, it blew all the CW's own soaps out of the water in terms of quality. I'd argue that Gossip Girl, 90210, and even Melrose Place 2.0 had their moments, but they never felt this good or authentic. I can't pinpoint what makes The LA Complex different, but I

There's a guy I follow on Twitter who seems to post nothing but dismissive, snarky, angry comments about things he dislikes. His constant barrage of negativity just makes him seem sad and pathetic in my eyes, and I find myself wondering what went wrong with his life to make him such an asshole.

I haven't watched House since sometime in season 6, but I thought the finale was decent and certainly better than a D+. Zack just sounds bitter and bored, which is perhaps my least favorite mode for a professional reviewer to be operating in.

I have to disagree regarding the importance of an ending. When it comes to TV, the beginning is one episode, and the end is one episode. The middle, aka the journey, can sometimes be 100+ episodes, so I do think it's far more important than the beginning or the end.

I refuse to watch anything created by a raging asshole who gets off on cyberbullying anyone who disagrees with his vision. At least Dan Harmon is an asshole who's nice to critics and fans.

I think the most nonsensical complaint here is that Felicia Day is distracting "stunt casting", when I'm sure 99.9% of people have no clue who she is.

That's a completely asinine reason not to give the show a chance. The floating text is adopted more from Panic Room than The X-Files, but if you find something that pops up 5 seconds per episode that distracting maybe it's best you're not watching.

Yes, the opening chunk is very poorly written and confusing. Best to skip over it and pray it gets edited into coherence.

To elaborate a bit on my initial outrage, the special effects are one of the most offensive things about this movie. It's 40+ years after the initial Kong, and somehow the effects are monumentally worse, with the height of innovation being a guy in a monkey suit wrestling a rubber snake. Unfortunately, I don't find
