No, no, no. Fuck the 1976 King Kong right in its boring, dinosaur-free, awkwardly moving Kong-bot ass. This film is an abomination and I loathe it. (My apologies, I just get very passionate about my rampaging ape movies.)

Says someone with a Christina Aguilera icon.

I think the audience for singing competitions and the audience for musicals don't overlap as much as you might think. If they did, the Tony Awards would get the same ratings as American Idol.

I didn't really like the Smash pilot, and I also don't think it has a chance at attracting a big audience. I'm a gay man, and even I thought this was so gay that it makes Glee look like Sons of Anarchy. I suspect that aspect will turn off the masses, though Broadway nuts will be in heaven.

I totally disagree. People always want to be first to jump on the "this show has totally gone downhill!" bandwagon, but with Misfits it's simply not true. Stop complaining and just sit back and enjoy.

I agree, why the swipe at Teen Wolf? That shaped up to be a surprisingly fun show.

I tend to agree, I had many more issues with season 5 than I did with season 6.

I agree, Jordo, but welcome to the internet, where hyperbolic negativity will always win the day. I've enjoyed every season of the new Doctor Who, including the Davies era. They're certainly not perfect, but they're always a hell of a lot of fun.

No one cares, Craig.

Seasons 1 and 4 are fantastic, and I'd agree with Carrie that the final Chrismukkah episode is the best. I just we had another season with Taylor Townsend and no Marissa, because that was basically the best thing ever.

Todd, the fact that you can enjoy a show that's not a top-tier, all-time classic drama series for the ages simply means that you have a bit of human blood mixed in with your TV critic DNA. This is normal, and does not require a trip to the physician or any sort of medication. Most of us enjoy a few shows simply

I think the key is to immediately cut ties with any show you don't find completely engrossing, and not to let critical praise guilt you into continuing on. As for Awkward, it is a good show, but you can watch the entire run on MTV.com if you ever get around to it.

Yeah, I've enjoyed this season of TAR quite a bit, though I do agree the string of non-eliminations was a bit much. Two of my favorite teams made it to the finale in Ernie & Cindy and Mr. & Mrs. Football Metaphor, so it hasn't been bad at all.

Ugh, coma baby. One of the first things I point to, along with the finale, when I tell people how terrible this season is.

First Zodiac MF gets ripped off Twitter, then fake Paz De La Huerta, now this. Does Twitter hate laughter?

As a former anorexic myself, I can tell you that what kickstarted my obsession with losing weight was when my brother, after not having seen me for a few months, joked that I had gained a lot of weight. Boom, that was all it took. I'm not saying he caused it, and I'm certainly not blaming him for what I went through,

This show started out incredibly dull, but has been on a roll ever since they ditched the procedural element and went full-on campy soap. Also, an excellent show called The Vampire Diaries has been moving at a similar crazy pace for 3 seasons. It can be sustained if the writers are smart enough.

Harry Hole has to be the worst character name ever, right? I've avoided these books just so I won't have to think of a winking anus every time he's mentioned.

You know, vick, there are many people who watch American Idol and X-Factor who are intelligent enough to distinguish good programming from bad. Stop being a reductive asshole, and maybe blame yourself for Dexter's shittiness since you're the "moron" who is still watching it.

You know, I actually think this was one of the best series finales for a TV show I've ever seen, and one that all television fans should watch. I ate the meta stuff up (I am a Community fan, after all), but I also found it to be genuinely moving there at the end. Fantastic stuff. Worthy of more than a B+, in my
