I agree with @avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus that neither deserves to be on this list…but isn't it clear that Con Air was supposed to be funny? It seems like there are too many jokes for that to be an accident.

I'm assuming, based on the love that Dead Man got around here when it was given a New Cult Canon entry, that you're in the high majority around here for liking it. I just…hated it so much. It's one of those movies that I'm probably not capable of looking at rationally, so great was my dislike of it on first viewing.

This is probably anathema, but Heavenly Creatures is my favourite Peter Jackson film. Such an intense exploration of those childhood fantasies—really great.
