Indeed—what about Deckard? Those of us…um, lucky…enough to have seen Legend know that Ridley Scott's got a thing about unicorns.

I'm not sure that's right. From what I've heard, Schrader and Scorcese are both adamant that the story's told straight, even thought a lot of the film's appreciators have suggested your interpretation, inasmuch as it seems sort of hard to square with what's happened before.

It's ass-kickin time, Gern. Not from me, but just you watch out.

Is he a man?
Is he machine?

Yes, that is definitely the most uncomfortable experience I've had with my parents in a movie theatre.

Hm. For me, most of the Harry Connick Jr. parts didn't work, but by the end I was so, to use your word, unnerved that HCJ wasn't enough to ruin the net experience.

I also find it hilarious that Friedkin originally ended The Exorcist (spoiler?) with the priest throwing himself down the stairs, and then jeered at how stupid the audiences were to think that the devil won. Dummies! That was the priest's unique way of getting rid of the devil. Duh!

Except for Jason Segel's family-friendly cock. Much worse than Harvey Keitel's awfulcock.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Bug is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen.

^ Don't feed this guy.

Ah, blessed womanhood of the holy mother!

“L’Avventura is the nearest I have ever come to pure cinematic agony” is a statement that seems so right, I might just check this book out.

I'm already free, thanks very much.

I like Shaw, but if I have a book of his I rarely get to the play itself. The plays are sort of…corny? Maybe dramatic is the word I'm looking for, while Shaw's commentary is very wry and dry, just the way I like it.

Sez IMDb: "Saucy! Naughty! Delicious!" I'll see if I can find it.

"Watchable" sounds like faint praise for one's favourite director, but I get your point. To be honest, I hadn't paid attention to Preminger, but looking over the list I notice that I've watched quite a few of his movies. I remember Anatomy as being a weirdly Adult film for one that I watched with my parents when I was

"No, no! My kids love SpongeBob, and who am I to say no to a child?"

Yeah, I'd say that's a Case # 1. I'm not going to go so far as to say that Pieces of April is a breakthrough film in general, but if it was for you…well, you can't argue with experience.
