Ah well that was sort of my point, everyone's so quick to label people awful things now and who was going to join my discussion if I said something reasonable???

I just think she might have a sheltered world view that shows up on her work. Nobody's perfect, but it's just something that's bothered me about her comedy in the past.

That's definitely true. I do think her comedy reinforces some things that seemed antiquated 20 years ago, and for all the hubbub about how progressive she is, I'd just like to see her maybe trying harder instead of falling back on lame stereotypes?

For me that seems to be stretching it a little bit; but I've never seen her talk about it so I can't really jump to any conclusions, it's just a thought I've had.

Well I guess I was mostly thinking 30 Rock and then her writing on what I saw of the un breakable jimmy Schmidt; there are tons of stereotypes about black women, black gay men, black people in general. And the one 30 Rock episode that really made me stop liking that show was when she turned her neighbor in because she…

I just find it odd that she's never gotten criticism for some stuff that seems kind of troubling.

Liz Lemon has some very serious unresolved issues regarding race.

So is Tina Fey actually racist, or was that just her character in everything she's ever done?

It's true he is. His original idea for Masked & Anonymous was a slapstick comedy.

I feel sorry for you

It's fucking awesome! The scenes were choreographed wonderfully and Keanu is a great actor and performer. Plus there was no bullshit, great characters, and it didn't feel forced or bloated.

Well John Wick was a masterpiece!

Millions of dollars and an insufferable ego.

Yeah I think popular music has moved pretty far away from political or philosophical message into pretty exclusively personal expression or more technique based, or more overall sound based, which is good and bad for numerous reasons.

I think Rock has the potential to progress and be relevant again (even more relevant than ever!) but it's not really being done by anyone except maybe Father John Misty.

Well now I know who I'm writing in for president! (it's Nick Nolte)

Bob Balaban in a horror movie? Ahah I don't think so!

The world's greatest screenwriter!

I can't believe they're paying him that much after he showed his Weiner on the Internet….twice!

I blame myself, but mostly everyone else.
