I agree! I watched the past two episodes & really enjoy this show. It's not a laugh out loud show for me, but more than anything I just find it strangely compelling. I can't imagine it lasting long on Fox, but it seems to me that it would make a better fit on adult swim.

I'm so glad you wrote this up, and frankly, that you came to the same conclusions I did:-P
As a female watching the previews leading up to this film, I grew to believe it could be what Snyder argues it is—a cool, subversive flick that celebrates women in a way typical fanboy culture does not. Once the reviews came out,

So, I read all the AV Club recaps of HIMYM, and I continue to be mystified by the hatred my fellow AV Clubbers seem to feel for Ted! He is seriously my favorite part of the show. I find him endearingly clueless about how he comes across, and I think I really would find him charming in person. I've always thought he's

More Jeremy Davies!
Galifianakis looks awesome, as always, and the movie overall looks like something I'll enjoy, but I sure wish this trailer had more jeremy Davies! Since Lost is gone, I really miss that scruffy, twitchy man.

Maybe it's just my mood this time..
But I felt like this episode was over far too quickly! This time, I felt like every relationship and incident had barely been established before the funny/tragic thing for each case occurred at the end. However, Roman's closing line—"Magnicifent!"—totally sold it for me in the very

Yay for Johnny!
I remember somewhat liking Roseanne when it first ran when I was a kid, but I didn't realize what a really GREAT show it was until I watched reruns in the last couple of years. David, though, was always my favorite. He was so real and honest and, well, just my type of guy, too.

Haha! I read that on my twitter feed before I knew about this PTC, and now I get why he even said that—priceless! I just love how he concedes "shitfuck isn't a word…"

It's Olmec, man, Olmec! And Silver Snakes forever!

Aw, I really love Hank Azaria. I haven't seen him in much but I think he's very endearing. This picture is truly off-putting, though, and reminds me that part of the reason I like him so much is that I think he's sexy:-/

311, I am ready to fight!

Insomnia made me
a very happy person last night, because I decided to finally take advantage of the Netflix stream of this show, and watched all 10 episodes right in a row. I periodically paused to allow myself to process the hilarity and laugh hysterically, or repeat a line to myself. Now, I am so fucking psyched for

I remember it fondly, still. I was fascinated by it, and it felt so very *real* to me. Palek and Carolyn's relationship was the one I related to the most, except I related more to Palek's side of it and had a huge crush on him. I'm still saddened that show didn't find an audience.

@yee yee Thank you for reminding me of Griff's place in the Boy Meets World timeline—it's been too long, man!

He's adorable!
I saw the picture, thought "Hey, it's Palek from Tell Me You Love Me!", so I thought I'd skim the interview. So glad I did, because he came off as so endearing and adorable here! Self-aware and humble and intelligent and cool—I'm very jealous of his life now, though. I wish I could be friends with him

It's My Life
The people who are into this song don't give a shit if Bon Jovi doesn't relate to his own lyrics, because THEY relate to the lyrics. It's why he and his fellow Jerseyite, Bruce, can get away with continuing to churn out this blue-collar dreck.

"Planet Terror was dumb but had some good parts. Death Proof is for people who think they are hip by liking crap that normal people hate."

Why?
Why must William H. Macy continually do dreck like this? The man has acting chops, but I rarely can bring myself to support him, because he does crap like this all the time? What is about certain actors that has them constantly slumming?

If loving "Blue" is wrong
I don't wanna be right! It's such a wonderfully infectious sound, and sufficiently unusual for me to love.

Aww. And I was just getting to know him. *sniff, sniff*

I'm so sad I know who all these people are.
