It's funny because he hates his wife!

"Enough is enough! I've had it with these motherfuckin' dwarves in this motherfuckin' cottage!"

Don't have a cow, man!

Years ago Disney was going to make a "Snow White and the Seven Shaolin" movie (Snow White with Kung-Fu.) That sounded more fun.

I'm a little late but just go around to the final issue of the current Mockingbird series…

You're reading all of Marvel chronologically? That sounds amazing. Through Marvel Unlimited? I've been thinking of signing up…

This was helpful. Are any of the Rebirth books continuing the Doctor Manhattan mystery?

Oops! Just made basically the same comment above before reading yours. But upvoted!

I liked the tone of it but never cared for the villains (the Hellfire kids?) The early issues are pretty great, though. Such a fun take on the X-men.

The long Roger Stern run on Doctor Strange is a real gem. If it's cheap you should grab it.

The X-Men guest star issue is a lot of fun! Enjoy!

Diane could be profoundly annoying, but the Diane seasons are much more consistently great.

Also, no one is elderly. Do they show up younger as it wouldn't be heaven if their knees and back were hurting all the time from age, or is it more only the good die young?

The youngest was Anthony Michael Hall (post-John Hughes movies), then Eddie Murphy, and then Robert Downey, Jr.

It's a very funny b-movie. No need to feel shame.

My MacBook Pro is from 2009. It too gets super hot. But it works!

Jimmy Woo!

Sure, but why go after him at all? The guy's career was ruined. It kind of came off like a chance for Davidson to remind the world that he's the guy who lost his dad on 9/11 (like a milder version of Rudi Giuliani constantly reminding people he was mayor on 9/11.)

Although what is her specialty? Most historians aren't experts in ALL of history. Maybe she did her phd in the 1968 election, and that's what she really knows (she was teaching about LBJ in the pilot.) I see your bigger point, but I think the show is never going to get super deep about any one event.

I agree. They're not at all literary novels but they're really fun storytelling. And that takes talent as a writer. A different talent than writing gorgeous prose, but a huge talent nevertheless. "Angels and Demons" was a very fun read.
