"King of Queens" started in 1998 as the face of “just good enough” TV comedy. In my mind it inherited the crown from "Wings" which ran form 1990-1997. So what was the late 80s "just good enough" comedy?

Last time I saw MMJ live they played some of the best of his solo stuff ("A New Life" and "State of the Art (AEIOU)"), but with the band, which made me happy.
I adore his voice. Diff'rent strokes!
(Yes, I think we have different tastes but also I would love to hear Jim sing the "Diff'rent Strokes" theme. Or the phone book. That voice!)
But has cab driver Ghost Rider ever met cab driver Moon Knight? Team-up!
I thought the OJ Show was pretty amazing if a little on-the-nose at times. Hugely entertaining and well written and made me rethink a lot of what I thought about the case (not the verdict but the people involved.)
Kimmel did a great job. I wish they would've let a few speakers have another half a minute, but overall good show.
What if it's only half as good as first season Parks and Rec? You promised to watch it!
Or how much is Albert Brooks paying the people who made the David Niven movie "A Matter of Life and Death"?
I'm excited to check this out because of all the talent involved but like "My Name is Earl" it seems a movie concept, and might similarly get repetitive ("Samantha Who?" had a similar issue but didn't stay on long enough to have to worry about it.)
If Hillary had run on calling one ethnic group rapists and on wanting to ban people from entering the United States based on their religion, then yes, she should be made into a pariah.
Well, a much smaller carbon footprint by not having cows in their diet (or consuming their milk) helps the world, but maybe not the particular community.
I think the practical issue of wanting kids or not would be the main obstacle for these kinds of relationships if the two people connect well. Whether it's that the older woman is ready for kids and the younger is not, or the older woman is past the age of being able to have (or just doesn't want) kids and the…
Big Marvel fan, and no memory of any of the theme songs from the movies. The theme songs from the 1966 cartoon? Still burned into my memory.
It seems an odd move for someone who is going to be with the show all season. My bigger gripe is the use of the word trope in any TV review. Fine writing throughout this piece, but man am I tired of seeing that term in TV criticism.
Noël Wells was a quarter Latina so technically the first Latina in the cast. Plus, she had an umlaut in her name, which makes her part of a tiny minority in the U.S.
And the only malevolent mailman who annoyed fictional Jerry Seinfeld was… Newmar.
In Claremont's defense, the name was supposed to be a bit dorky. As the original idea was that a young mutant kid had manifested Mr. Sinister with his powers, as kind of a take on Billy Batson and Captain Marvel. He's what a kid's idea of what a super-villain would be, including the name. But that got lost when…
Top Ten is great (often funny) super hero stories. Wish there were more (Moore!)
With Itunes I made a copy of Less Than You Think that ends at the 2:56 mark. Pretty great that way. (Suck it original artistic intent!)
Or their Let It Be-> Tim -> Pleased to Meet Me.
