Would love to hear your thoughts on that series as well Les. Any chance you might review on here or on your other websites?

SPOILERS for Canal+ Borgia

Mine would be the last 10 minutes of World of Wonders. Caught that particular scene one night without knowing any of the story and was blown away. I was convinced that Juan was the hero and that Cesare and Lucretia were the villians. Throw in that music, the cinematography and Juan's monologue and I was hooked. Such a

(wishful thinking)I Think that with the scope of the story being so borgia focused in the last 5 or so episodes that the next season could really wrap  up in as many episodes. Alexander dies in the first or second episode and the Borgia empire falls quickly apart.

Thanks for the reviews Les and the commenters here. Never fails if I miss something on the first watch, someone here will have picked up on it.

For an episode of this show I would agree with you Les that it deserves an A. However, as a season and series finale? C bordering on D. I'm pretty disappointed in that being how this show ends. I really hope they can work something out to end this a bit better.

Spoilers??

good finish to the story and then cut to roose listening to a rat squeaking around the floor.

Honestly, besides John Doman's accent being kinda out of place with everyone else its pretty good. Production values have nothing on The Borgia's but the writing and acting are pretty excellent. And as much as I've liked Francois' portrayal of Cesare I think Mark Ryder actually does alot better job in the nuances of

Looks like baby Giovanni aged at least a year or so since last we saw him.

It seems alot of people are confusing Borgia with The Borgias. You are all referring to the one with Rawls from The Wire.

Its a really great show and Les is great with his reviews. Come on over and join the discussion!

Just read on IMDB that this season is officially the last we'll get of The Borgia's. So sad.

I really enjoyed the camera work when Lucrezia went to meet King Frederigo but not so much his spelling out Rufio's letter with the cage.

Was wondering why the hell Alexander keeps putting off giving Cesare command of the Papal armies. He's no longer a cardinal and seems ready to kick ass so whats the holdup?  Maybe the wandering Jew takes over?

thanks, knew someone here could fix that for me. now to check under my bed.

fantastic news. now on to tonights episode!

I think the story, at least the more interesting parts to me, have shifted to Cesare and his career, Think Les mentioned in last weeks article something along the same lines.

I'm enjoying Lucretia building up her knowledge on poisons and also how to treat different types(onscreen). Leaves me wondering where the charcoal cure came from though.

Was not my intention to say you gave the article too much credibility Les. Only happened upon that page by chance and hoping it might raise hopes and spirits to all who read your excellent reviews.
