In one rerun, Si made a "Homey don't play that" wisecrack, which is not a recent callback.

He's the worst one of all!!!!!

Everytime I see that guy's band name, my brain tries to translate it as "Palin Whiteys" and all I can think of is how I am still kind of sick of hearing about anyone with the name Palin.

@avclub-0f0d67e214f9fef69b278e3d08114da9:disqus  They could call it, "Dialing for Dumbasses"

All I remember was tuning in (not even having heard of this as a show) to see Louie Anderson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar standing in wetsuits at the side of an olympic size pool, talking about diving, and me thinking… what in the fuck is this….

NBC reality rating system:
High five is good, fist bump is watchable, eye roll and sigh is watching because you lost the remote, slap in the face for it being annoying, stabbed with a fork is for hating it.

Sounds like that old FOX disaster, Who wants to marry a millionaire?

Bitches leave!

Why not both!

Why not both!

So you enjoy Splash ?

Sound like she has Changnesia.

I bet you're the recurring character that shows up every couple of episodes to remind us about the plot themes.

She sort of had that look in her eye, but I would think any such thought is tempered by her vast experience in the dirty jobs subsector of the service industry, from cleaning freelance shitty motel rooms to slaughter house drain pipes.

“I think what we have on our hands here is a classic case of what laymen refer to as ‘fear of failure’.  As a result, -Lip- is an underachiever, and yet he seems to be, how should I put this?  Proud of it?”

I would not have called Cox's portrayal exactly "quiet menace" either, but he is nowhere near as over the top as Hopkins.

Although it was completely off track from the rest of the episode, I loved Ryan Howard's whole subplot as enthusiastic screen writer wannabe.

I love when somebody like that just takes the time to embrace fans in that way. Just engaging them straight on and cool.

The guy is awesome. I was reading Alan Sepinwall's posts revisting Deadwood a few months ago, and Beaver actually logged in and engaged in the comment sections of Sepinwall's posts, talking about the show, the character, etc, even answering other commenter questions. Utter cool.

That and Russia mobster smurf from Smurfs 3.
