disagree…I always saw albums the way people do now—-as a collection of tracks that I can filter out the chafe. Mellon Collie, Adore, &, um, the one after adore (Machina?) all have very good tracks. Doesn't mean I have to listen to his ponderous 10 minute suites…

buuut…like I wrote in an earlier post…in 2112 they're writing about a world that exists—-the North Koreas, & increasingly less, the Middle East. The dystopia they're presenting isn't unapproachable or unrelatable.

Rush are (recently?) on record as saying they were thankful punk happened, because it meant people thought they were playing maybe better than they actually were…

2112? The song about a repressive regime that's outlawed personal expression because it's too messy, a dude who discovers a guitar, get shot down by the cultural overlords when he presents the guitar as a way to possibly improve existence, & then he kills himself rather than just play his mundane role? The whole 2nd

Wha? Yeah, Kanye, who steals most of his music (sorry, "samples"), vs. some of the better songwriters & soundscapers ever. Kanye's "perfect" standing on the shoulders of giants, kid…

Uh, like some podcasts, MacDonald's is also audio…

Dunno…Rogan's been in the top 10 overall on iTunes for 3 years, & those pods are always 3 hours…so *somebody* likes it (including me). They change topics so often & the topics are so diverse (as are the guests) that it was a gem back when I had the mind-numbing 10 hour repetitive work shifts.

I always took the "…I don't believe anybody feels the way I do about you now" as a snarky "nobody likes you anymore, but I'm still willing to give you a shot" line. Not vulnerable @ all…

Silly, yes, but wasn't it a burgeoning "Oh, look, some girls have bigger mammary glands than others! Sex!", as well as a "Those dudes in the New York Dolls are really what I'm into! Sex!" Redeemed it a little for me, @ least…

Jason Heller, my god man…

ANOTHER new podcast with a Rogan guest as host (Tom Rhodes, Bill Burr, Jay Mohr wishes)…you @ least gotta give #300 a review next week, yes? 300 podcasts, 2-3 hours each, free, literally talking about anything & everything in an insightful & humourous manner….& often appearing in the top 10 *of all podcasts*. After

WAIT a minute…you guys now review the Mohr Stories pod, but continue to ignore Rogan? (Jay Mohr, fwiw, has been begging to get on Rogan's pod for months). Proops was on Rogan last nite, & per usual, Rogan found common ground, intrigued his guest, & Something New came from it. @ this point I just consider the Rogan pod

? Yes, no one wants to hear that podcast…except last week it had three episodes in the top 10 (overall) on iTunes, & consistently rates in the top 10-12 in the overall rankings (out of about a million pods now). Last week he had Maynard James Keenan from Tool on, an impossible interview to get, & an enlightening & fun

w/ Rogan, there's really not much MMA to his pod. I came in ambivalent about it, & through Rogan, I've come to appreciate it as one of the ultimate tests in terms of courageous athletic pursuits.
He only supported Paul as the best of a bad bunch, though yeah, Rogan is more libertarian than anything.
 He gets pegged

On a week in which the Rogan Experience hit 200 (almost 3 hours per!) episodes, it's quite ok 'ol Podmass gives it no props nor reviews. It's just rancorously funny to me that Pete Holmes' (almost brand new) podcast is labeled "profound", about a week after he went on Rogan right-hand man Duncan Trussell's podcast, &
