New "Nightman"?
The Kitten Mittens commercial (and subsequent episode) just might have overtaken the Nightman for me…anyone else agree?

What about the dancing football players who seem to come out of nowhere? And why is everyone so happy at McDonald's birthday party? I remember being a kid and seeing this movie and saying to my mother "I want to have my party at McDonalds!" and (rightfully so, thank you mom) immediately said "you can do better"

Capturing the Friedmans
Is a great documentary. However, as someone who grew up in the same town that the Friedmans are from (my family moved there a year before the hysteria and personally know many of the people featured in the film who disguised their faces) I can tell you that it is actually factually incorrect…

Agreed. They gave surprising depth to such a monster of a character (although it could be called cliche to use the "good father/awful criminal" angle to do this) but SOA played it very well.

Joseph Gordon Levitt was fantastic in that movie as well, and very often both roles have been used as examples of him being one of the finest actors of his generation

Zobelle going to jail might not actually be that safe for him if Weston gets to tell everyone inside how Z's been working with non-whites. For all we know, he may wind up with a huge target on his head by his own gang when they find that out.

I had the same exact reaction when I saw the Flu Vaccine/Poison plan the V's had…why on earth would the flue vaccine be MORE popular than a cancer vaccine?? Of course it's going to be the number 1 vaccine!

It should be commended that she is such an awful person on the show and performance is so funny as it that you don't feel the slightest bit bad that her Fat Boy husband cheats on her constantly.

The wife is in a stereotypical abusive relationship. Terrified of her husband one moment, then lovingly embracing him the next. That's just part of the syndrome and unfortunately for those who suffer from abusive relationships, they tend to constantly search for those glimmers of hope that will make it all seem…

Agreed. It really goes to show that persistence and hard-work can (and many times will) pay off. I'm also lumping in here the people who may have actually started working in their careers very early on, but only found success much later, way past the time most people in their situations would have given up and moved…

Was this at the Highline Ballroom? I was at that same show (my roommate is in the opening band The March Fourth) so we got to hang out with them too. Nice enough fellas, we talked about Built to Spill…who I felt they sounded a lot like. Glad to see they are getting reviewed by the Onion.
