I'm right there with you. I follow plenty of those new Leftist/politically active vegan anarchists/social justice warriors on Twitter, and they think that just because they find a person's views distasteful, it gives them license to literally harass that person through social media. There seems to be an obsession with

Whoa…holy shit. I know rappers pull shit like that literally all the time, but I expected so much better from Das Racist. I don't think I'll be able to listen to their music quite the same way from now on.

That's the other thing I find deeply troubling with so much rhetoric of that ilk. It seems to be saying that non-marginalized (ie, straight white guys) are grotesque, CHUD-like hate mongers. That doesn't mean I'm one of those "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE MENZ" people, but uh, hey guys, we're all human.

Exactly. Writers like that blogger all have identical perspectives and voices (they do the ironic [?] KILL ALL MEN/WE ARE MISANDRISTS thing, etc.) and operate in the mode of "FUCK YOU INTERNET NECKBEARD CULTURE" without realizing how deeply, deeply consumed they are by the internet and the bubble they have created

Um…wow. It's amazing how people think that having legitimate gripes with oppressive institutions, and a very justified desire to end those oppressive institutions, think that their marginalization gives them license to be complete and utter shitheels to other human beings.

Edit: whoops, didn't read the comments. Looks like she actually saw a real physician. Still, get well soon, love the band.

Wait, she doesn't like Jaws? I think that objectively makes you a stupid person.

And "nem Iggles" and so forth. Yeah, they were the least Philly people alive. Also, I'm pretty sure that no Main Line suburb has a trailer park in it.

You're right, but to be fair Eastwood has made far more important contributions to the industry than Grammer ever has or ever will. One's a legend both in front of and behind the camera, the other is a once somewhat popular and successful sitcom star
