About the timing
So, yeah, the timing on this season seems shorter. But it happened immediately after last season. I don't think that many TV shows go that route, starting a new season (10 months afteward in real time) immediately after the last season ended.

I agree. Best episode of this season and off the top of my head better than anything from last season.

I loved the Cougar Town shoutout. The two shows remind me of each other in a lot of ways.

I thought that it was also a reference to CSI and NCIS where they somehow enhance pictures over and over even when it is from some shitty cell phone camera.

I did a spittake myself when Chang did his spit take.

Don Glover
I think that Mr. Donald Glover is my favorite comedic actor right now. Suck on it, Danny Pudi and Jim Parsons.

Biggest laugh of the night by far
was Dan freaking out about the drugged guy being a "zombie."

It may be because I was drunk
but I thought that the Brett Favre fake Wrangler commercial was perfect. Well, it would have been funnier if Jason Sudeikis was wearing crocs, but it made me laugh.

Good to hear that Chuck got renewed. Last night's episode was the best of the season.

Dave Batista. which brings the number of pro wrestlers on this show to two (I think) along with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The one without the no ordinary family

Maybe Joss Whedon can take this show over and it will get a second season before being canceled.

On the East coast version
Alec Baldwin messed up just about every punchline. HE did not seem comfortable at all. Krakowski and Fey were the best performers there. And Tracy Morgan wasn't bad either.
