I pay for cable but the constant commercials drive me nuts.  I consider downloading fair use.

I noticed it wasn't straight too.

I read the reason Zappa started playing "Whipping Post" was because a drunk fan one night apparently thought they were the Allman Brothers and kept yelling "WHIPPING POST!!"

Blargh

Other MST films, I can at least understand how they came about (most are quick-buck no-budget genre turds), but who the hell was Starfighters even made for?  I think it's altogether the worst film in the show's whole run.

Watch the Throne was predictable and uninteresting, spun it a couple times then never again.  If you want a good collaboration hip-hop album, Bad Meets Evil just blows it away.  I got it around the time it came out and STILL play that shit on a regular basis.

There are groups that buy TRUCKLOADS of right-wing books for the sole reason of inflating their sales numbers and putting them on the best-seller list.   Conservative book clubs virtually give these books away a short time after they are published.  Mitt Romney asked institutions he was speaking at to buy $25,000

So far the biggest surprise was "Mrs Claus" actually working on the Santa level. I like the "Give these people an appropriate item" puzzles a lot more than the action puzzles.

Holy shit that really is the melody to O Come All Ye Faithful. I wonder what other songs stealthily crib melodies from traditional songs.

You guys need to get back to eating abhorrent shit. Preferably from a murky glass jar found in somewhere dark and weird, like underneath the counter of a bait shop. Instead you feast on marshmallows, Twinkies, and jellied wine? For Chang's sake!

Who's the real seven-billion ton robot monster here?

"The material was weak but he drew heavily on his physical gifts. The audience ate it up."

I get it he's holding the heart over his penis because men like to fuck! And hers is next to her head because women are the cerebral type when it comes to romance, always thoughtful, never impulsive. This is such a fresh and accurate depiction of the sexes!

What, I'm not allowed to complain about hackneyed typography? The poster for this movie is incredibly lazy, looks like it took 5 minutes to put together. And they're using the bold/unbold thing in all the advertisements, arghhhh.

I let my mom borrow the first Maus book and she loved it, asked for the second just a few days later. I haven't seen her read anything but Ann Rule and ladies magazines in the past five years.

I can't stand the poster for this film. How can a professional art person use unbold/bold/unbold titles like that? It's been a movie-poster cliche for years.
