Bring Veronica Mars/Party Down back!
Bring Veronica Mars/Party Down back!
All I really got from this episode is that I wish they gave Ray Wise more/better material to work with. But, hey, he's getting paid, so that's good.
Truth.
Maybe this movie will focus half the plot on the actual Transformers. Ha ha! There's my optimism again.
I mean, I like the show even though it takes itself way too goddamn seriously. Sutter, "club" will never have even half the emotional weight as "family" in the Godfather because it's a silly fucking word (and a sandwich), so stop trying.
The only way I would even consider an American remake is if it doubles as a cast reunion of season 4 of The Wire. Even then, I'm skeptical.
I don't get this at all. I know CBS knows they need to skew younger so they go, "Let's get Fred Durst!"? Old people are like, "Fred Durst? That hippie with the tattoos and the wearing of the hat backwards and spelling 'biscuit' wrong? Get off my lawn!" (citation needed), people aged 21-49 (mostly) are "Why?" and…
The non-A stories made up for it, Adam Scott in particular.
Top fucking shelf, this episode.
Hey, Penny is uh-mazing.
Missed opportunity by not using Daft Punk's "Superheroes." What, are you going to tell me that the trailer was subtle?
THERE AREN'T ENOUGH HOLY FUCKS IN THE WORLD AND YES ALL THESE CAPS ARE NECESSARY DID YOU SEE THE GODDAMN EPISODE?!
Sophomore slump? Hit me with your genie bottle. Other than that, agreed.
"Pierce, wake up! Jeff is going to heal us."
This show was pretty a'ight. I liked the pilot more than New Girl and Up All Night, for what little it's worth.
American Horror Story's just a mess. It's like God spilled a TV show.
My whole brain is crying.
I use "Also yes," and "…either?" sometimes "Duh and/or hello." and "Danger Zone" on rare occasion.
Tick off another thing this show does better than True Blood: the vampirism as homosexuality metaphor.
I really really really hope Jeff calling Annie "kiddo" is a setup for the Kill Bill themed episode late in the season.
