The Tom stuff this season is really disturbing. That they would let him officially join the crew in the same episode that it's revealed that he breaks into Jules's house and sneaks into her bed while she's sleeping is just absurd.

This is the reason that the Ellie on Ambien joke did not bother me. Because in both of these cases, the women had made it clear to their partner that they had consent to have sex with them while they were asleep. You can give consent in advance. That is fine.
Such a huge improvement over last week! Can it be a coincidence that Klaus and Rebekah were nowhere to be seen?

When Victoria was talking to Charlotte about Amanda, she said something like "She's your half-sister… if that." Since she already ran a DNA test on Amanda last season, did anybody else immediately think "Oh great, so David Clarke might not be Emily's biological father?"

One thing that bugged me, and this is really nitpicky, was that when Vicki was in transition she was super hungry and ate the entire contents of the Gilbert refrigerator, so why did a sandwich make Elena want to vom?

The thing that really concerned me about this episode is that I was strongly reminded of two of the worst plotlines I had to suffer through on Buffy.

"blue poultry" is definitely referring to the blue Cucco that won't crow in Ocarina of Time, right?
