Maybe the dragons can pull a Knights-of-the-Vale? Oh I don't know, I guess Daenerys really is unstoppable. Next stop, Blackwater Bay!

now that R+L=J has finally been confirmed, I have a new big theory: Varys is secretly Dash from The Incredibles, and he's been running high-speed back and forth across the Narrow Sea this season.

Hoping that Daenerys meets Euron at sea next season, and Game of Thrones can attempt their first fully naval battle.

I think this might be (in my opinion) the second best episode of television of all time, right next to "Ozymandias" from Breaking Bad.

I think the issue then is that this was a much more predictable episode of Game of Thrones than we are used to, in terms of outcome and character. I agree that Rickon's death was inevitable from the start, but what with the Starks' signature value of family, often above any rationale, I bought into Jon and Sansa's

Myles I think you need to suspend your disbelief just a tad more. Questions remain unanswered and it seems some plot holes are nigh, but for now, just soak in the greatness of a well-earned battle between good and evil. As much as I love the moral complexities of Game of Thrones, Ramsay had to go, and go he did.

If we weren't already hype for the Battle of the Bastards, they gave us all three dragons in action before. For an episode like this one, I'll honestly forgive a scene of Meereenese jokes and all three acts of a Braavosi play

First off, I absolutely LOVE polite fight - actually intelligent and detailed recap/reviews of the best television on the air. In regard to what you both were discussing at the beginning of the episode, I think the fact of the matter is that, unlike George R.R. Martin's series of novels, Game of Thrones is not a work

Serial season 3 anyone?

Brilliant foreshadowing with the "Sioux Falls" hangman graffiti behind Ed on the wall of the phone booth. God I love this show.

I think you're getting your Jungle Book movies mixed up. Idris Elba will be voicing Shere Khan in Jon Favreau's remake which also features Scarlett Johansson. Benedict Cumberbatch is playing the tiger in Andy Serkis' adaptation "Jungle Book: Origins," set to be released in 2017.

Hank also mentions that his wife died last summer, visiting her sister in BRAINERD (the location of the original film). Season 2 takes place 17 years before the events of 1996's Fargo, but I wonder whether the Larsson clan is associated in any way to the characters (or their families) from the movie.

Are you kidding? Whiplash totally belongs in the originals category. The screenplay was written BEFORE the short film was produced! It is a writing award - who cares if additional material was made before the feature was released.

Great article!

This finale really was a fitting and meaningful end to The Comeback, but I've got a good idea where the show could go if it were to be renewed. Now that Valerie has gotten "what she really wants," she would need to deal with what she thought she wanted: Jane's documentary, The Assassination of Valerie Cherish. The
