Hell, the scripts sucked in the first season. I'm expecting a Hindenburg like disaster for season two.

Why acknowledge a show that's been past its prime for years, and didn't even get any awards when it was still good?

Forget back then, I have serious doubts that AMC could survive as an a la carte channel right now. Most people are only interested in it for the sixteen weeks a year that The Walking Dead airs.

Numerous channels would go under and the ones that don't would cost too much relative to the content they have available.

Exactly. Anyone looking forward to a la carte is an idiot. You'll be paying the same ~100 and getting less content.

Exactly. There's no downside to burning off a show that was ending anyway.

Agreed. This was the first Capaldi episode I liked.

So terrible, but I've had that goddamn verse permanently etched in my brain since the sixth grade.

Skeletor reads mean tweets was great.

Even with BB gone he's still probably never going to win an Emmy. Hell, no actor from Mad Men ever has and the Emmys are totally over the show.

It really sucks, but I'm not sure why anybody is surprised. The show that frequently gives comedy awards to Modern Family and BBT doesn't seem to be a place where a show like OITNB is likely to do well.

If she hasn't won yet, she won't win next year. Why would the Emmys suddenly decide to reward someone they've totally ignored for years?

I can't imagine it ever will, and it doesn't deserve to.

This.

Agreed. Personally the only highlighted comment in that image that offends me is the Shameless slam. That show is great.

Great, great, great, great episode.

I'm generally not a fan of them, but for a show with a premise like this they just work.

Wasn't that good! Wasn't that good! Wasn't that good!

I feel exactly the same way. Make the show entirely about Donna and I'd be actually looking forward to it.

It truly was.
