Also for whatever reason this review showed up below SNL on the list, buried way down.  I kept checking to see if it was out and never saw it there and had to scroll down and go "wtf?" before figuring it out.  I imagine we'd have quite a few more comments if this glitch hadn't happened.

It was pretty damn rigged.  And that's a shame.  Clay had the better…everything.  Money, presentation, party, etc.  His video was pretty rote, but it worked better than Arensio's unintentionally funny "lol look at all these funny clothes by the way AIDS".  He was going for cute, but when he tried to turn it to the

She's a mental case but my 2 second search doesn't turn this photo up, only the standard stanky ones she's taken of herself way back when in her thong or w/e.

Not sure what Meredith is talking about about how Selina should be pissed.  The scene where she said "i can't be seen asking the senator to do this" screamed the unsaid phrase "one of you assholes better find a way to get the senator to do this without it being connected to me".

I think he means Hader's vocal rhythm *sounded* like he was reading something much of the time rather than it sounding like his character speaking on a topic.  Which was true.  But yes, it was still great.  The best part for me was when he mentioned the R2D2 thing and he just for a couple seconds got this expression

Yeah I just made this same observation a bit higher up in the comments a couple minutes ago.  Its a total headfake by the editors to manufacture drama, imo.

I wouldn't be surprised if since its raw footage this is manufactured drama and they also had a camera filming the whole thing from that other angle, but don't have them cut together yet since its a raw footage dump and we won't find out until next week.

Damn you beat me to this one.  So damn good.

I couldn't possibly care less about PC bullshit.  It was a good song.  If we started rejecting songs because of the people who wrote them being of questionable character we would have pretty much no music at all.

Steve Martin once said that when you're younger you can appreciate more offensive forms of humor more, like cancer jokes etc, because you usually haven't experienced those things in a serious way in your life, so its easier to laugh about them.

Puzo is guilty of doing that thing many writers do where all the characters
around a particular handful of characters take one look at them and see
that said handful of characters are true forces of nature born to tower
over you and make you love it while it happens.

The long scenes in multicamera sitcoms only work when the people have the chops to pull it off.

Yeah, I just don't really see that as a legitimate grounds to object to an idea.  I do however agree that once he said he didn't want to do it, she needed to respect that decision regardless of the reasoning behind it.
