I agree with how Aang's ghost 'haunts' the narrative. It seems to continue on a theme that ran through the original series of different generations bearing responsibilities for the mistakes of their predecessors, and how the solutions of one generation can become the problems of others, like Kyoshi and the Dai Li,

Although that doesn't explain how she was able to pick out her clothes from the washing line…

Does anyone know of any other good shows/books/films/media in general that are similar to Avatar in their use of East Asian culture and mythology in a fantasy setting?
