I don't understand what you mean by insistence on *being* gay. Are you saying that you think of yourself as *doing* gay stuff rather than *being* gay, or just that gay doesn't really convey everything about you, or something else? I feel fortunate now to have been able to see him perform just a couple years ago with Anoushka in a little concert hall in Birmingham, AL. I thought they were both fantastic.
