Same here! You're awesome, Dan! And I would definitely support a marriage equality law in my home state. Unfortunately, that state is Alabama so it will probably have to come down to a court decision.

Right, but it's not your job to go around gathering evidence. That's what the police are supposed to do. That's what police investigations are for. Granted, I agree that it's harder to make that decision when you know that just the accusation will ruin this guy's career, regardless of whether there's a conviction.

I really think "[he] is a thousand years old" is the appropriate response, because I don't think anyone was really offended by it. Right? There's just something about the phrase "a black" that's a lot more striking than just calling someone "black."
