It was kind of tragic to me as a Nashville fan to see everything go our way and then have the team completely fuck it up against Phoenix after beating the Red Wings. I don't really have anything against Phoenix but I'm too pissed to want them to win. At this point, I dunno… LA? Just for Wil Wheaton if nothing else.

There is simply no way Littlefinger didn't recognize her. He absolutely knew who she was. You can take that to the bank.

But just because the letter claimed the battle happened doesn't mean that it actually did. Given the space between the chapters, it seems a lot more likely that the battle hasn't happened than that we are reading something that happened quite a while back from what happened at the end of ADWD. I agree

Haha, I love the complaining about ad hominem followed by "Now go back to playing Dungeons & Dragons, the grown-ups are talking." But "It's better than anything YOU wrote" is a bullshit argument in addition to being an assumption based on no evidence.

Cersei's falling apart over Myrcella leaving is understandable, but it also shows how much less she is like her father than she would like us to believe. They are now the ruling family, and that kind of thing pretty much comes with the territory. Not to say she shouldn't hate it or anything, but it seems like she's

27-year old Community fan here. I hope I'm not too late to annoy @avclub-f2b489efd726db529335e31c83509c73:disqus

It definitely seems like the show has been heavier on politically-minded people in the past year or two. Like @olivececile:disqus  said, it's usually just the extra 4th guest who is an entertainer or something, and sometimes even that person is political.

Well, I see I'm not the first person to jump on board the Kennedy hate-train. Not only was she wrong about almost everything, she was obnoxious and completely took the show over. Martin Bashir basically got 2 things to say and he added more to the discussion than she did.

I'm hoping Ros is the whore Cersei gets ahold of at the end of the season, and maybe she will die.

I thought she was a brunette.

I can't wait to hear him ramble about this for 10 minutes on his next podcast.

I loved the interview with Donald Glover. He gets a lot of really interesting things about people's lives and how they work. It only took me two episodes to realize I need to skip past the intro, though.

Apparently @avclub-dd9c4e1b9af8976f87dd646847855fc1:disqus was upset because he confused the word "interview" with "stand-up."

@avclub-a46841e0bd51fb5c88bd4abe75e07ec7:disqus THAT WAS LOMMY /pushes up glasses

It's VI. I thought the internet had come to a consensus on this by now!

Yes, the books have sex. The HBO show just happens to have a lot more. There's a character in the show given quite a bit of screen time who was never in the books, and she's naked in every scene.

@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus Cersei's moment was kind of badass, but it also got at her deficiencies in ruling (as did her scene with Tyrion in episode 2). Unlike Ned and (to an extent, Robert), she knows just how much she has to do to maintain power, and she knows how many people would love to

Still not Robb's worst mistake

I don't mind getting new POV characters, but they have to be interesting. *SPOILER OF COURSE FOR BOOKS 4 AND 5*

But we've already had 3 episodes full of paintball battle scenes. I guess I'm in the minority, but I really enjoyed the Ken Burns documentary conceit, especially the battle plans and the reading of texts between Jeff and Annie.
