I've heard from multiple sources that Bill Nye is a jerk among jerks. I'd be more interested in character assassination expose than some celebration of him willing to be on tv to teach kids. Not that I have anything against him, that would just be more interesting to me.

I'm sure there are worse books out there, but I'm usually pretty selective with what I read. I read maybe 10-20 books a year so I try to make them count.

Independent for me. I've just known too many boring as shit people that try to substitute musical tastes/knowledge for a personality to overlook that aspect of Piz.

That's what happened to me. People kept recommending it to me. I fully expected to like it, it sounded like just my kind of thing. But then it was just awful. I mean it's probably the worst published book I've ever read in just about every way.

But you used context to relate a situation to something you remembered from a childhood movie. That already puts you miles ahead of Cline who just plunks down a Delorean whenever he feels like it.

I watched a few episodes of Family Ties recently and it does hold up. I was pretty shocked when high schooler Alex lost his virginity to a significantly older girl and nothing life-ending happened.

It is legitimate.

I don't know. It just looks like a shirt to me.

I didn't think 3 was that bad, but i also never felt the need to rewatch it.

Oppressed? I'm not sure I can call a 20 something with a criterion release and their own HBO show "oppressed" with a straight face.

No, I like it a lot. But it doesn't really have any heroes nor any badass anti heroes. It does have a lot of flab and cellulite and a girl who made the mistake of being born rich at its helm.

That is the same bike, though the one at my gym is not hooked up to the wifi or something so I'm never able to log in and keep track of my progress or race my ghost. I can just pick the unlocked trails and the unlocked game, which is awful.

Me too - I have long wanted video game exercise gimmicks to actually take advantage of the medium they're in instead of just simulating environments that exist right outside my door.

If I get to play God, probably a young Alec Baldwin with current Alec Baldwin's rage issues and heavy presence.

Yeah, but I'm with Qweef. This guy is blandly pretty. I just finished watching the trailer, and already I wouldn't be able to pick him out of a lineup of bros.

I read them only on occasion when I was 5 or 6. It was the type of thing my parents would buy me for an airplane flight or a visit to the grandparents' house to get me to sit still and shut up.

Yeah, maybe it was just because of the love triangle, but I thought he was supposed to be moderately good looking but not flawless. He must have at least surpassed a minimum level of attractiveness and made up for any shortcomings with charm.

When I saw this pop up in my disqus notifications, I researched it because I have nothing better to do with my Friday nights.

I get motion sickness too and this is my biggest fear about VR. I hope it doesn't affect me.

I'm excited for VR, though I'm excited more for other applications outside of games. I think the thing that made me want to get an Oculus Rift was an app that lets you watch any movie in a theater like setting.
