What a longwinded anecdote for it to amount to little more than "I kept him occupied".

I don't blame anyone for not sticking up for Shirin either. It's nice to think we'd be the ones to protect the victim, but they are playing for a potentially life-changing amount of money and alienating another contestant could cost them a much needed vote.

I would love a Tell Tale-style Dragon Quest.

Spoiler for Walking Dead Season 2

I checked his twitter a moment ago and he bragged about it and was encouraging everyone to watch.

I think Shirin is probably a really annoying person and she's just getting an ok edit. Her unpopularity may just be a product of bully hivemind as people here theorize, but typically I find when some one is not well liked, it's because they're unlikeable.

Yeah, as someone with anger issues myself, I didn't really think anything of Will lashing out at camp other than it was regrettable and that he would likely be sorry and apologize in an hour or two.

Being the swing vote sucks. It almost always means you're going to be on the bottom of whichever alliance you choose. I hate Dan as much as the rest of you, but it was awesome to finally hear someone acknowledge the shitty position of the swing vote. Typically the boast about how they're controlling the game and have

Shortly before the GoT leak, I got flagged by my ISP for pirating Girls - which I thought was weird because I thought HBO took a "Well, whatever…" approach to pirates. I don't know if it was just a coincidence or not and if HBO really even had anything to do with it.

How much is the difference between what they make on a single album sale and how much they make in a year from one person streaming their albums? I'm genuinely curious. It seems like, at least at some point, the streaming would eclipse what they make on the sale, but how long that would take, I'm not sure - and that's

That isn't what he got though. That's what he got from streaming services for this past year 7 years after they put out their last album.

That said, if you told 16 year old me that something like Spotify would exist in my 30s, I would have peed myself and knocked myself into a coma so 2015 would seemingly get here faster.

But the streaming service would need to take a hefty cut of that penny, and then the label would need to take another cut, and then the manager would need to take a cut, and then the artist would wind up getting .0007th of the penny and turning to Twitter to bitch about it.

At least he's not like that Cracker guy who blames the listeners for the suicide of that Sparklehorse guy.

I do kind of miss my high school days when I had limited funds and had to choose carefully which albums to buy and my cd and record collection were the only music I had to listen to. I only knew a handful of bands, but I knew their albums inside and out and I can still recite the track listing of many of those, even

I live in Austin and I promise you that discouraging some people from making music isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I think I'd like to see a breakdown of how much artists make when selling cds, playing on the radio, and streaming.

I'm conflicted on this.

I don't believe I did (it's been several years), but I did see the one (I think) where Picard stood up for Data.

I actually thought the outburst seemed stilted and forced, so I'm leaning towards it being fake for the exact same reason.
