If I was in a high stress situation and had Phillip braying in my ear everyday, I'd probably lose it too. Regarding the rest of the cast, I wonder how much of it is maturity and how much of it is just self control out of greed. It seems like some one ought to be calmly explaining to Phillip the problems he's causing,

Am I the only one that was right there with Brandon? I HATE Phillip. I hate his speeches, I hate his distorted view of himself, I hate his boasting, I hate his nicknames, and I really hate that everyone enables him and I hate that this game puts them in a position where the best strategy is to enable his smug, saggy

What a creepy comment, creepster.

I'm not blaming the comedians for enjoying the attention. I just found the american audiences obnoxious and their reactions completely disproportionate to what was happening on stage. I'm not sure why this is a controversial opinion, unless you two also enjoy over the top laugh tracks and woo-wooing any time anything

Yes, you're correct, that's exactly what I said.

I disliked Drew Carey as a host too, mostly because not only did he suck shit during the ending improv, but his timing with the buzzer (I'm assuming he's actually the one pressing the buzzer - am I naive?) just seemed off.

I fucking hate Princess Bride.  Your loss, MRatfink.  Your loss.

I had the opposite problem. I really like Mindy Kaling and I really, really wanted to like the Mindy Project. I must have watched half a dozen episodes just WILLING myself to like it, and I couldn't. Not even a little.

Maybe the problem is when the type of people who watch Ben and Kate or Don't Trust the B get those large envelopes asking them to be part of the Neilsens, they scoff at the minor effort involved and throw it away.  Like I did when I got my large envelope from the Nielsens.

"You're right that it can't be eliminated entirely by a player of skill, but I maintain that it can be mitigated, and over the course of a single game."

I have a lot of these fancy pants board and card games, but I don't have any friends to play them with. Every once in a while, during holidays and birthdays, I'll try to talk my family into playing Bohnanza, but they'll take one look at it and decide we should just play Apples to Apples again instead.

I liked her better after the shoplifting arrest. For me, it validated her edge more than a movie like Beetlejuice ever could.

I just bought the Lost Treasures of Infocom on my iPad. So fucking great.

I used to work in a used bookstore and was able to put together around 3/4ths of the whole collection over a few years, but then I moved and sold them, which I regret.

I loved her speech too and I think she deserved to win. I think sometimes good strategy can be like good acting or writing - it doesn't call attention to itself. That's why "strategists" like Malcolm often find themselves out on their butt when they fail to win immunity and strategists like Denise win the whole thing

I adore Penner, so I may be biased, but his speech just seemed to me like he was joking around and trying to give the stereotypical brutal, bitter jury speech. He called Denise a bitch, but then said something very sweet, if I recall correctly, when he cast his vote for her.

Skupin recognized her early on and, from what I recall, lost his shit.  He treated her like she was some household name. I've always wondered if their alliance was built on some crush Skupin had on Blair once upon a time.
