Penner's never really been good at Survivor, I don't think. I'm not sure why he has the reputation as the slippery schemer. He never seems to be two steps ahead, like the best schemers are.

Am I the only one who thought the chicken scene was cartoonish and not in the least disturbing? I went into the movie knowing nothing about it, so it's not like expectations dulled my reaction.

I was really hating Russell for most of the episode, but when he admitted he had fucked up badly by bossing everyone around and looked suitably humble at tribal, I was won over. I'm not used to self awareness on reality shows.

I like the podcast reviews. While I have plenty of podcasts in heavy rotation, there are none I listen to every week. I use these reviews as much to make sure I didn't miss a gem of a WTF episode as much as I do to find new podcasts.
