"Hello airplanes? It's blimps, you win."

Ha, Canadians don't have the best words!

Also big fan of Japandroids & Tokyo Police Club.

The Guess Who did it with a #1 hit in the US, "American Woman", while pushing anti-war ethos as well as exposing American hype all at the same time.
It's why I absolutely hate the Lenny Kravitz version; he just doesn't get it and just wants to sex it up to fit his personae.

Good one.
I was a fan of In Our Bedroom After The War, but its resonance came out a year after its release, after a bad relationship gone worse. "Bitches In Tokyo" is chaotic and short, which is what I needed to hear at the time.

Let's not lurch to a conclusion here.

The Verlaines!!!
['YES!', IN MARV ALBERT'S VOICE]

Ah! You're the Faygo rep!

Nice pull!
Front 242, Ministry, Nietzer Ebb, then KMFDM were all great (I know I'm forgetting a lot) and definitely had them in my Industrial mix back in the day, but didn't know Skinny Puppy was Canadian.

She Loves Me
She Loves Me Dead!

Hey (is for horses),
I'll have you know that fecal transplants are in vogue for treatment of severe c. difficile colitis!

Summer of George.

Julius Peppers?

Soldiers on!

And "Income" to, "…I get by."

Had a beer with Hillel Slovak in a dingy Phoenix club before one of their shows, he came out to watch the opening band play. He asked about them (Poet's Corner, one of many ska bands to dot the landscape back then), then covered my beer. Super cool dude.

I had the honor of being the best-looking guy on a flight to Milwaukee once.
In retelling that to friends, the guy I was traveling with at the time called "bullshit", to which I replied, "Yes I was. You were there, remember?"

I, for one, really like how Ruben Bolling satirizes the medium in Super Fun Pak Comix, especially with how the costumes reflect Golden Age outfits, but with super-complicated acronyms jammed in to the front.

Fake, fake, fake, fake.

Thanks, I just looked it up too.
…wow, that sucks.
