Stupidity and laziness certainly factor, but to be fair, a lot of states are going out of their way to make it difficult to vote, and most (at least, all that I'm aware of) election days are still on Tuesdays during usual work hours (with some not-terribly-helpful time after 5pm).

That's good to know, but to my reading, the data still shows a campaign that isn't getting any major part of it's funding from corporate America; 2/3 of his funding is from sources other than himself, and a large majority of that is small dollar donations (48% of the total, so 72% of all his non-self-funded funds).

I don't know; most of the corporate influence in the Republican party is on the "moderate" establishment side [see: Jeb Bush's SuperPAC] and hate Trump for making their general election chances worse. He's also funding his own campaign.

That's a disgusting comparison, for reasons which are obvious to everyone who isn't insane.

That's not at all what she said; she said the policies were meant well and came about with broad support (in an effort to fight back against some of the more conspiratorial musings about how and why these crime bills passed), but also said that they had a wide range of unintended consequences that need to be fixed,

Maybe the XL refers to the pipeline itself? The twinks aren't XL, it's just that there are so many of them the pipeline itself must be XL.

Dangit! I should have glans-ed down and checked that that pun was still available.

I'm so sorry; I upvoted everyone else's, but yours I don't get. If you could enlighten me, you'd be doing be a great cervix.

My argument isn't the Clinton was perfect and Bush should have been psychic; my argument is that Clinton didn't have a reasonable opportunity to take down Bin Laden, as @disqus_cJ8KtuwGrO:disqus asserted and that Bush did seem to ignore notable information about an impending terror attack, as

That's ridiculous; there are countless articles about how America has been so desensitized and accepting of these kinds of incidents, but now we have at least two (Jeb "stuff happens" Bush) literally espousing that viewpoint! How are these the people who lead us?!

He didn't actually say that, did he? I can't tell any more.

@disqus_cJ8KtuwGrO:disqus @firstjivedude:disqus Going by Wikipedia's (heavily sourced) summary, there were only two opportunities at which Bill Clinton could have dealt with Bin Laden; one (a Sudanese custody offer) which was later concluded to be not credible by the 9/11 Commission Report and another which would

That statue is so done.

Well I for one am incredibly excited! I love Kate McKinnon and Hillary Clinton, and I especially love it when the former impersonates the latter:

Dobby actually preferred mismatched socks. See the fourth paragraph in this section:

I agree with the pun, but I've always pronounced "sieve" as "SEEV", so I'm all over the place.
