I like a lot of his policy positions (so of course I'd vote for him), but I've been kind of annoyed with him since he ran for Senate instead of governor.
I totally agree that there are ethical questions to be raised in regards to how companies are using genetically modified crops (eg, programmed seed destruction, suing people who save seed for violating patents, etc), but there's nothing up for debate about how they are or are not medically dangerous.
