I don't know that she'll be compromising at a more active rate; I think, if anything, she'll be going into the presidency with much less idealism than Obama, to the point that she wouldn't negotiate against herself on the idea that the Republicans are actually interested in making a deal.

It's going to be that way regardless of who the President is, as long as they're a Democrat. Say what you will about Hillary, but she's nowhere as naive about the limits to which the Republicans will push partisianship - which I think is her main strenght over Obama; she wouldn't do something like (for example)

There is overwhelming scientific consensus that GMO foods pose no threat; GMO labeling is anti-scientific claptrap on the order of intelligent design and global warming denial. There's absolutely no reason to label GMO foods, and doing so would probably encourage people to think that they were harmful, which would

…but enough about the election!

I'll agree on the drone strikes, but the Guantanamo thing is absolutely not his fault. If you want to blame anyone, blame the Senate and the Republican "Obama wants to bring terrorists to your back yard!" narrative.

Upvote for "loot the corpse of the two party system".

Martha Coakley should realize that she's bad at running for things and stop trying.

I'm betting that the Broadway version will have a more villainous reprise of Love is an Open Door at that point.

The Lopezes have talked about that; there's probably one coming in the theatrical version, but they thought a song would step on the emotion of the moment. I tend to agree; when I first saw the scene where Elsa discovered frozen Anna, I thought the lack of any sound aside from her sobs to be really striking.

So the idea here is to lure people away from Netflix with a subset of a show that's already on Netflix, presented out of order, with commercials? Sign me up!

What a bunch of clowns!

Wait, what happened now? Does the AV Club actually have AMA threads?

*Begrudgingly upvotes*

It wasn't the caricature, it was the watermelon.

Which episode is that from? I can't remember it at all.

I think I like the music they had with Coven more, but as for the actual visuals, I think this one is a bit more creepy. It's the stop-motion that gets me.

Is it just me, or did her two heads have two different accents?

Here's the link to the "Opening Night" trailer, which doesn't seem to be in the article:

Oooo, pestilence or famine?

Am I crazy, or was there a man in a suit, tie, and hat in the background of one of Abbey's scenes in purgatory that looked suspiciously like an Observer?
