I'm actually surprised that i miss this show. But that season finale was fucking great and Felicity is adorable, so here we are.

*******SPOILERS******

They have bigger budgets, but that's mostly because broadcast seasons are longer. Also, cable networks pay less money to the actors(at least at the beginning) which means more money goes to production.

Another brilliant theory from June on HDTGM. I'm starting to suspect that it's just a bit.

> period drama
> on broadcast budget

Yup, i was just thinking about it after watching tonight's Breaking Bad. Even CBS nowadays is trying to make their procedurals look interesting, they're inviting famous directors and cinematographers, but Dexter just looks like a fucking soap opera. It looks so fucking outdated comparing to Hannibal, BE, BB, Mad Men,

Yup. Dude still looks dreamy.

Top comment on youtube: "That awkward moment when someone saying the show is great plays Irene in a show called Siberia on NBC."

She's a pretty active scientologist. IIRC "church" doesn't like gay people, so maybe they pushed her or something. Or maybe she doesn't like attention from gay community herself, because Alex is pretty popular in lesbian part of fanbase from what i've heard.

Loki is a poster boy for misunderstood villains and some people still hasn't grown up from that teenage phase. "He's a bad boy, but he's vulnerable" and shit.

Sexy, sexy nightmare.

Brendanawicz though.

"professional basketball team"

GUYS THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN BECAUSE @avclub-efe3192d78a1ce56ee8080149d5de969:disqus SPEAKS NORMALLY. IT WAS FUNNY THE FIRST 20 TIMES HE DID IT AND IT STILL IS, IT'S NOT TIRESOME AT ALL.

Season 3 wasn't as good as people here say it is(season finale is a huge clusterfuck in particular), but it was a pretty entertaining season of a summer show, so i'm sad to see it go.

Yeah, same. I liked it overall, but it wasn't as good as Take Shelter. And if we're talking about this year's coming-of age movies,  The Kings of Summer  >> Mud. I still haven't seen The Way, Way Back though.

Best Picture: 12 Years a Slave, Le passé, August: Osage County, Inside Llewyn Davis, American Hustle.

But i thought they already saved all community centers in the previous four parts?

People on twitter are raving about it.

HBO is not NBC, ratings don't matter that much to them. Since it's anthology , they can submit it to mini-series category and win a bunch of awards every year(even if it's not that great), HBO cares about those. And just like AHS, they can use same actors for different characters.
