So far I'm loving the remix version of Real Humans. It seems like they're merging several characters (names redacted because spoiler and Real Humans is worth the watch on its own). They've also streamlined the ridiculous melodrama of the Roger plot by combining his character with the detective and by cutting out all

The show this year is the visual equivalent of listening to the downward spiral on repeat. There's moments of beauty and a sense of appreciation for the author's slowly unfolding plan, but at the same time it's nihilism is so intentionally aggressive that it's laughable at points.

Point to one example where "the liberal media" has "shut down" Jerry Seinfeld.

Christ almighty, he's really become insufferable in his old age. I bet he also mentioned how Seinfeld is the greatest sitcom of all time and HOW DARE you even suggest otherwise.

This is a bad list and you are wrong and you should feel bad for being wrong.

Considering this show has had 3? 4? Finales now (I know Abed swore we'd be back for season 6), this is easily my favorite of all. The basic premise, a meta exploration of the show itself, was expanded upon in ways that felt entirely true to every character involved. If this is truly the end, I'm incredibly grateful

I weep for the U2 of the 21st century knowing they were once capable of interesting, no-bullshit experiments.

Entourage/Ted 2 bromedy laugh-free double feature??

Ugh

For me personally*, it's the last truly interesting U2 album

I know it's cliche to arbitrarily chose a cutoff point and say "SNL cast x from the past is better than the current cast given the benefit of hindsight".

I think cranking out now 32? Of these in the past year is causing the premise to slightly stretch at the seams.

I still think Cecily Strong and Michael Che would have made a great update duo. Cecilys update characters only work if you have a recognizably human anchor to play off of, and J.O.S.T's exasperation program still need some work. Colin and Che are trying, and last nights was arguably their best ever so far, it's just

I'd say solid b/b- range. Dakota Johnson was hardly outstanding, but I liked her general don't give an eff attitude she took.

Over/under on number of episodes before Sutter gets gang raped to a song from Katey Segal?

Pretty sure the replacement is Jenny Lewis at some point prior to the last episode……

Never forget just how awful Season 2 was. There was an entire episode about Lori acquiring, consuming, and vomiting up abortion pills because she couldn't tell her two men she didn't know which one was the baby daddy.

Terry Sweeney to do a dying of AIDS sketch in 1985, right at the height of AIDS hysteria and long before the development of an effective long-lasting cocktail.

It's why this season has come across as such a failure. There have certainly been sympathetic complete asshole/sociopaths on television before, but they have to be written in a way so that the audience can empathize with their emotional journey while condemning their actions.

From the moment that album was released, there was absolutely 0 chance Rolling Stone was going to give it less than five stars.
