The last AVC interview with AH led me to believe we were going to learn something significant about Wendy's mom. I was misled.

It's telling that I don't even miss Jess.

I didn't know about the grape soda stereotype until I heard it in some Chapelle stand-up after college. Literally days later, the guy who sat behind me at work, who got a grape soda from the vending machine every afternoon, started complaining about how they were always shaken up and he jokingly concluded it was a

So good. Never got around to reading the other series in the same universe…"Book of the Long Sun" and "Book of the Short Sun"

But Grant Gustin is a charming mfer so it evens out.

Poor Barry…he's a sacrificial lamb to outdated superhero TV tropes. The writers are the real villains here.

If you only do one thing for me The Flash, please don't name Wally West "Kid Flash." Just skip the Kid Flash moniker and go straight to Impulse or something. I'm begging you.

Crooked Fingers- Call to Love

Patrice Rushen- Forget Me Nots

Joe Jackson- Stepping Out

FFS, I miss this every year.

Oh I'm calm but I'll tell you what I told my podcasting buddy: "Bridesmaids, The Heat, and Spy are not reasons to
confidently declare “It’s Paul Feig!” when it comes to Ghostbusters." Bridesmaids was good but Spy and The Heat where "meh" IMO. Of course, YMMV.

Ok but the one above isn't the only promotional picture I've seen that gives off that vibe.

Also…no "Winds of Winter?" Gotta keep the faith AV Club. (And no, GoT Season 6 from yesterday doesn't count).

All these promotional pictures got me thinking…the Ghostbusters aren't supposed to be cool and badass. They're supposed to be schlubby and nerdy. I'm on to you reboot.

No way is Jessica Jones better than Justified. That's just insane recency bias. Jessica Jones should be on yesterdays, somewhere after Banshee. Banshee, The Flash are way more fun to watch.

This looks pretty sweet. And I am geeking out for my first glimpse of MCU Peter Parker, the One True Spider-Man. (Sorry not sorry Cult of Miles).

The key question: Were you not entertained? I can honestly say that I can't remember being entertained by RotS. At best, I managed some derisive laughter…especially at "NOOOOOOOO!!!!"

I haven't read the article yet but it is already invalidated by putting anything prequel related above an OG trilogy item, You can disagree but you have to know deep down that your opinion is wrong.

Yeah, Gina definitely has the physical presence (though not the height) but oof…her acting skills. Carla though is a good pull…
