There really weren't many roles to discuss. And he was gracious. After reading that bracing Hatesong, this left me unmoved.

I've tried to moderate my anti-Beatles/Zeppelin/Floyd stance over the years. I listened to that stuff a ton when I was a teenager, and it's all just over-exposure. They're all great bands, but I genuinely don't want to listen to any of them ever again.
Good call on Defiance Ohio. Saw them with This Bike is a Pipe Bomb a long long time ago. Really great show.
If you wouldn't mind sharing that integrated book order, I would love to see it. Might do the same myself, as long as Esslemont is at least in Erikson's league.
I completely agree with what you're saying about the scope of Malazan and the characters. They just kind of emerge from the pack to become important characters and develop in fascinating ways. Then you go back and read where they'd been before and it becomes clear just how meticulously prepared their emergence was.
I haven't read much fantasy in a good ten years, but Malazan is so well written. It lacks the boring filler that seems to bog down so much of the genre.
She was amazing, but I also appreciated the contribution of Jeremy Davies, although his hair didn't get as awesomely vertical until season three, I think.
Miller's Crossing is probably my favorite Coen Brothers movie. Jon Polito is the best in that. Why did you have to kill off Crosetti, NBC!?
I rewatched the second season of Justified. I loved the most recent season, but it really pales compared to season 2 (with the exception of Tim Gutterson, who really got a chance to develop his character).
So you're trying to tell me that Dr. Pepper is a warrior's drink?
I somehow agree with both the original commenter and the first paragraph of yours.
Agreed. We're certainly in the minority around here, but I think it needed saying.
He got to keep Rhythm of the Saints!
Paul Simon's Graceland without a doubt. The only CD of my dad's I've ever stolen. Sorry, Dad!
As an adult, I love that episode for its crude 3D graphics.
Have you read her The Keep? I think it's better than A Visit From The Goon Squad, although that also has its moments.
I would be less embarrassed to play a triangle than the bongos.
You're totally right.
Wait a second! A critical reappraisal of Anger Management occurred? How did I not know about this.
@avclub-a46f5df0676c360744889be2b9960d67:disqus Nah, there are plenty of director box sets at counterfeit DVD store. My favorite is the Coen brothers collection including Bad Santa!
