That doesn't surprise me. Some in the military are anti-war, anti-establishment, or  straight edge and generally intense people. Or they just have good taste in music.

I saw The Conjuring as well. It was my birthday on Sunday and I love horror so I treated myself. I kind of hate how much it "got" me, even though it was basically the same plot as Insidious. But James Wan does good camera work, and Patrick Wilson is way hot for some reason (he wore the shit out of that zip-up sweater).

"Bread makes you fat?!"

That movie took itself so, so seriously, which the Beatles movies didn't do at all.

Check out the interview with her on Vice, it's interesting.  Every fan of horror should be in mourning today. Thankfully I was already wearing a black dress. R.I.P.

I'm teaching myself that song on the piano. Odd expression not included.

Apparently they're still going. Damn there are a lot of these things, aimed at everyone from dentists to prisoners to American Idol auditioners (??): https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…

She looks like she's been smoking those crystals.

For some reason I can only find those in New Orleans. Which is a shame, because they're strangely delicious.

Well I think she's great.

There was Yo La Tengo.

Richard Pryor's story about seeing it in the theater is great.

I did too. I watched it as a kid and thought Steven Weber was cute. Now when I look at him he kind of creeps me out.

I miss Róisín Murphy.

Been interested in seeing this ever since I read an article about men who fall in love with their vehicle's GPS.

She wishes she was weird, but she's actually really fucking dull.
