My only real gripe was that I wish it had more candy. She was wise to ditch the hoop-skirt.

Yes, I believe so. Ahh, Sonique. I think she and Morgan were underrated queens. I love their videos together on YouTube.
I just have to say I watched Jinkx's lipsynch like 3 times. Phenomenal. Her outfit was definitely a mess, but I have a thing for antlers. *shrug* And who doesn't love a "hot shit Christmas trailer mess"?
I'm fond of Morgan McMichael's "2 of Hearts" as well.
Jinkx has no problem with modern songs. I've seen clips of her lip-synching to Die Antwoord's "Rich Bitch" and Nicki Minaj's "Supa Bass" and she was great at both.
I thought Matt Berniger was fairly attractive. Then I saw his chubby brother described as a "horror and metal enthusiast" and really swooned.
Ditto Courtney Love.
Yeah, I love how the "Untucked Lounge" is literally the green room. You know the Season 1 queens watched subsequent seasons and were pissed! :P
And Houston on 04/21! I can't waaaaaaaaaaaaait.
Alyssa would have done really well in this challenge.
Nebraska was indeed hot, but I thought Alaska looked stunning! Her makeup was great and that huge blonde hair always works for her. I was surprised when the judge said he didn't like the boots - I thought they worked in a 90's female action thriller kind of way.
It could have been edited, but Jinkx didn't say anything.
I'm sure this was said before, but I'm glad all the next episodes will be an hour long. It makes for more concise storytelling (though last year's 2 hour premiere was better). But I mostly enjoyed this premiere, even if some of the death omens were a bit ham-fisted.
Loved this. Though I must say I'm 28 and still have some of the issues brought up in the questions. Eurgh.
I'm so happy that RPDR and Mad Men are airing simultaneously.
Patrick Wolf's "The Bachelor" has some creepy-ish whispering toward the end. That's a fun one to sing along to because a) it's dramatic and b) I figure I'll never get married. Also I'm pretty sure Tori Amos' cover of "97 Bonnie and Clyde" is mostly whispering.
Gaaahd, Kate Bush is awesome. Y'all are making me want to throw on Hounds of Love when I get home.
How edgy! Now I want to know how much menstrual blood one would need to make x numbers of 7-inch pressings.
I've only heard "This City", but I really liked that song.
If the public vote is on, Jinkx for the win!
