Nothing screams the '80s, like that '90s toy Tamagotchi.
Because these people clearly aren't having sex?
Yeah, this is the last thing I'd expect to happen, Adult Swim backing the creation of new episodes of a fun anime. If these turn out on par with the original, I hope this becomes a trend.
Yeah, because they're all like that.
Would you call that a period piece?
What the fuck kind of Lovecraftian kids show is this?
I think what's great about the novel is the scope of the world building. I still consider the first half of the novel the most interesting, in that it's mainly about the fall of House Atreides. There's a bit of a Greek tragedy in places. I'll agree with you that the prose and dialogue can be downright cringe worthy.
Be happy we got anything. In a world where great shows get cancelled after a season or two, we're lucky Venture Brothers continues. This season was short and only did tiny changes, but I'm fine with that. It felt more like season 1, where the focus was on gags and bits.
Counterpoint: You're wrongest!
Wait, is this teenage slang for drug use? Dammit! I knew there was something fishy about my daughter and her friends wanting to, "Do some serious tarot tonight."
It's like a profane Care Bears.
It's tacky as fuck, and not in a good way. I think I'll stick with my Giger set.
Seriously, I miss when my local station aired blocks of horror movies right after the Saturday morning cartoons ended.
Our grandparents. :"(
This gave me a good chuckle.
Same here. Even though I could redo many of the deaths later on, I was on edge for another Kate moment.
The game's very impressionistic; broad strokes meant to evoke feelings. It's far from elegant, yet when it hits a beat, it's downright beautiful or heartbreaking. I've entered my middle-age as well, and I find myself thinking back to my teen years, and have started to really make sense of my life and what I was going…
They're saving all of the separate houses for the next game: Life is Breaking and Entering.
It really is, and it's quite funny.
