Inception made me mad for not getting dream logic right. Parts of it felt more like a haunted house movie. The only thing that seemed like it was a dream was the train in the middle of a city street, but then everything else felt like a shooting game. And don't get me started on the endless falling van.

It also had a good dose of humor, and a real sense of mounting dread. It did what many newer horror films have failed to do with splashy effects. It was scary with just words. Just hearing the reports of people moving as herds or of the carnage going on outside was frightening. An excellent use of quiet horror.
