PJ is like your first deep love: when it's over, you don't love them anymore. But you can never hate them. The thought of them brings so many memories to mind, and maybe a smile to your face.

My last couple years were great, because about 75% of the time, everyone in the store would stop taking delivery orders 20 minutes before close. Unless the GM was there. If he wasn't, it was great. Many a night, as the closing driver, I actually finished up and left before close.

I have a buddy whose parents have boxes of beanie babies. A poorly made "investment" years ago.

Best laugh I've had all day. Thanks

I delivered for the hut off-and-on for about ten years. Around Year Six I went to a different store, and there was a driver who always kept orders in his trunk for that very reason. It was brilliant. My wife and I went back-and-forth on buying a house. I wanted to keep renting, for numerous reasons. One primary reason: I figured If something broke, it's on the landlord to pay to fix it.

When Pearl Jam played in Moline last fall, Mike McCready used a guitar he'd borrowed from Rick. At one point, after a solo, Matt Cameron yelled out "Smash It!"

Easy Bluemoon…just try to calm down and shake it off.

Given your life experiences, I can understand why you would feel the way you do. I'm sorry to hear you were treated the way you were.

I can understand your point of view, and I wholeheartedly agree it is not ethical to fantasize about or wish for the deaths of others.

For what it's worth, on Sept. 11th they opened up their buildings (at the foot of the Brooklyn bridge) to people fleeing downtown Manhattan. As a place of refuge to rest and have some water and clothing.

That opinion is popular with me!
