I know this is going to be an instant classic for me.

This episode (especially the insane, amazing time-travel interaction elements) feels like the movie Primer.

"I don't doubt Swift's intelligence"

The Mako and Bolin stories are great, the Korra one is the clunkiest thing I have ever seen.

A self-conscious clip show that comments on the show and analyzes and pokes fun of prior flaws without trying to convince the viewer that they were anything but flaws? Better than most clip shows and good enough for me. B+

That could have been such a great episode if they would have done some things to establish passing of time. Something with swooping camera shots or montages or something. Possibly include some jargon-y words to show Beth had to adapt to a new environment. I don't know.

Yay! Let's alienate everyone!

It's a good thing we don't have this problem in our schools!

One thing that's interesting about the Korra trailer is how few scenes Korra is in with other people—no friends, and not even many enemies.

You're the first person on the A.V. Club I've seen who also reads SMBC! Nothing relevant to say, here, so bye!
