I believe so. They become Aunts or Marthas.
I believe so. They become Aunts or Marthas.
I think that's exactly right. On the surface this is a revenge thing, but a lot of it, I imagine, is Hannah working through her own regrets and decisions. Like, how she kept trusting so many people until she couldn't anymore.
Yes, this was great, but where in the world is Mrs. Herendez?
Allison is without a doubt my favorite character who had the best arc on the show. She became strong without becoming a 'strong female character' or simply just the love interest. It's so easy to write her off, but she really had a great season arc, especially if you remember her in season 1.
I think what really went wonky this season is that the characters did a 180. Wasn't Max a goofy guy in season 1? Sure, getting shot is a traumatic and life-changing experience, but they made him into a blank soul of a person. (I don't think it's the actors fault).
General Spoilers (Nothing Specific)
Agreed. Especially since we know she's doing it because she knows she's good at it. Sure, she needs the money to pay off her outstanding bills, but there's some part of her that likes watching the chaos. She's just a really refreshing anti-hero.
I believe he was named after a school crush of Diane Ruggerio. So there's that.
I just think they share a passing physical resemblance. And it's crazy that Anders is 34. He's been around on my TV for a long time. One day, I'll force myself to finish Alias for him.
So Blaine's dad is totally Steven Weber right?
Yeah. The ex is pretty bad. Incredibly bland. And also a bit puzzling. Wasn't he dating Rachel when she was doing this awful shit? Like, he knew who she was.
I think it's because the show allows him to look goofy and off-balanced by everything while also excited at whatever's going on. Especially later episodes.
Oh man, if you watch that shit as an adult, it's like remembering how stupid you acted in front of your crush in high school. Second-hand embarrassment. Though to be fair, I watched almost all of the show as an adult so good riddance to me.
I watched it on Netflix a few years ago. I liked it but it was also horrible. Like, you could tell everyone who worked on that show did not like working on that show. Plus, lotso network interference.
True.
And Bradley Cooper, IIRC!
I'm personally a fan of Blaine and Liv facing off against one another, so I was disappointed that they weren't fighting/flirting/whatevering.
I remember watching that scene years later and thinking that's when Murphy decided to make American Horror Story. Just that performance alone. Honestly terrifying.
I came here literally to say that. I was definitely struck by the direction and cinematography. So many beautiful tracking shots.
I loved Amell's tear down of that, actually. Because it is a bit of bullshit to cast someone else in a feature length role days after The Flash has gotten some great numbers (it's not too far away from SHIELD's which is on ABC). Plus, Grant Gustin's Flash > Ezra Miller's Flash.
