Lester's insurance award begs to differ.

Lester's reaction to having nothing to lose has been to transform himself into an alpha male. I can't wait for the little jerk to go down.
But that didn't stop me from being completely freaked that Malvo would turn around and give Lester (and us) an icy stare.

I love that Molly's decoration scheme for the nursery is a Conspiracy Wall.

And both Peep Show and Fargo have Sally from Flight of the Conchords. Though in Fargo no one is singing "Sally, I love you."

Yep, exactly. At first it seems like it's all an unlucky chain of events. That Malvo just Strangers on a Train'd Lester. If they'd never met none of this would have happened. But once we learn that Lester went sock shopping in a gun store, and had that gun hidden at home, we know that Lester was somehow, somewhere,

It's really interesting. I knew about some of the accent stuff, like people on remote islands in the south east of America sounding pretty English. As an American who has spent A LOT of time in the West Country of England, I would say that overall American accents sound more Irish. But some things that English people

Meredith agrees with you.

This whole show (and advertising) is of course all about longing. The Carousel pitch was about Don aching for the perfect family, at the moment when his actual family (that looked perfect on the slides) was truly slipping away from him. The Burger Chef pitch is about hope and optimism that we will have some perfect

Yeah, plenty of people have babies into their 40s. Peggy just has to find a 70s man who isn't intimidated by someone who's "as good as any woman in this business."

What do I do now?

Yeah, teenagers are going to play around with ideas, to see what fits. When Don told her to stop being so cynical - do you want your brothers to be like that - she immediately says No. She's got that older sister responsibility that brings her into her parents world. She also knew, as a beautiful girl with poofed up

Bert's last line - a showman to the end. And as a person who was born in the horse and buggy era, to get to the point where there's a man on the moon? He just says to himself, Bravo, now I've seen everything, and keels over and dies. Magic.

Lou: "Shall I invite them to Don Draper dinner theater?"

Nah, because in this dream scenario Stan kills everyone in the car, with no witnesses, and then whisks Nina away to Mexico, where they spend all of Oleg's envelope of money. (And also, why didn't Nina use that envelope and get away while she could? Is it because she couldn't leave that sweet sweet Oleg?)

I think Arkady's line was meant to be more important to Stan than most people are taking it here. He's letting Stan know Nina doesn't really love him. That's why Stan went on that suicide walk down by the river, and ultimately decided to betray her - 'cause he finally figured out she's been playing him all along.

Stan takes Martha to the shooting range, to help her with her Ladysmith. As Stan watches her take the gun out of her canvas bag, a lightbulb goes off over his head. Waitaminnit! (And scene)

She's probably reading newspaper and magazine articles that tell women "How to dress for success." Knee-length skirts, modest necklines, and maybe add a pair of glasses so you know, you'll look smarter.

Did you really see it three times? Or did you just dream you did?

Have a moy toy.

Yes, but I'm delighted that it's at least somewhat realistic to have fish fall from the sky. I hate gosh darn magical realism. Give me real realism any day.
