And then she's gonna stab you with a scalpel.

Fuck that, I'd give my left nut to have Kubrick rant at me over the phone at 4 in the morning.

Judd recounting the Timmy Baterman story to Louis in Pet Sematary is one of the most effective sequences he ever wrote. I love that novel for all the reasons King is uncomfortable with it, its nihilism, its perversity, the fact that you know Louis is doomed to dig himself in deeper and deeper despite all the warnings

I got that original hardback Bachman Books volume for free and read Rage in one afternoon. That fucking story moves.

Boo! Hiss!

Insomnia: sucks.
Desperation: I remember it being pretty awesome, but I haven't read it in a long time. And the sheriff in Needful Things was the good guy trying to stop the devil from operating his evil curio shop.

The market is saturated with crappy sparkle-vampires who aren't fit to drink from Barlow's opened chest-vein.

Passing judgment on the above concerns:

The book Please Kill Me is a fucking goldmine for stories like that, particularly those involving Dee Dee, Iggy, Johnny Thunders, Arthur Kane, etc.

Otis Redding is the son of the God of Soul Heaven, and in that plane crash he died not for our sins, but rather for the pain in each of our hearts.

GOOD QUESTION

More Barn.

Agreed. I always sleep better at night knowing Neil's got an eloquent ally within the AVC.

Fuck. Just watched the trailer. I may be powerless not to shell out for this fucking thing, especially that 236 page hardcover book. That thing would take my coffee table to new dimensions.

This is pretty much the only thing that would ever make me consider Blu-Ray. But the price tag…I'm just too cheap. Oh well, back to downloading alternate versions of "Hitchhiker."

Fuck yes, Beechwood Park all the way.

Listening to "Song for the Dead" while driving drastically increases the amount of pounds per square inch of pressure on the gas pedal, simultaneously multiplying your chances of being pulled over.

Necescelery? Some new kind of celery I'm not aware of?

Can I just say
I love the term "butt-rock." It's just so concise and descriptive. I don't know who coined it but I want to buy him/her a beer.
