The question is, will you?

After the Gold Rush was actually Neil's third album after leaving Buffalo Springfield: self-titled, Everybody Knows This is Nowhere (with Crazy Horse, maybe you aren't counting that), then Gold Rush.

Second on checking out Dig Lazarus Dig. Hell of an album.

The awesome thing about Mick Jones is that in all the Clash's live footage he just looks like he's having the time of his life. It would actually be pretty cool to be the foil to the superserious dude with convictions.

Steve fucking Nieve
The Attractions organ sound is one of my favorite noises in rock and roll.

My recollection of Cage's performance in 8mm consists mainly of him smoking cigarettes and squinting.

I'll have to echo leeharvey - see Aguirre the Wrath of God and tell me its "pedestrian." You just haven't been exposed to his best work.

For me Yelchin was like the sole tolerable aspect of this movie. It just sucked so hard, and was saddled with the totally unnecessary Sam Worthington storyline, way too many characters, a director who clearly doesn't give two shits about actors, and a painfully convoluted and stupid script.

I was so glad to see a Dirty Work writeup in MYOF, and then like a week later it went up on Hulu and I watched it for the first time in years. Memories.

This makes me want to watch Baseketball
DUDE.

In all the real girls Danny McBride plays Zooey Deschanel's brother, and his name is Bustass. Awesome supporting character, especially resonant if you're from North Carolina.

I'm way late with this one, but that song falls into the "music I can't listen to anymore" category. I'll give it time, I'd hate to lose such a great song forever. I think "Ramblin' Man" may be my favorite of his. It's got the spook.

Likewise seeing them last day of Pitchfork. Pretty much bought my ticket just for them, and then Flaming Lips were added to the bill. I requested that they play "Pilot Can at the Queer of God," but I fear they won't.

Hm, I say A- is accurate. I liked the song, the guitar line reminds me of "Uh Oh, Love Comes to Town."
